Angell Hall Information

Angell is a three-cubed hall home to 391 co-ed students. Surrounded by two volleyball courts and a basketball court, it's an ideal place to live if you enjoy sports. The hall's close proximity to Whitney Center and Allied Health Building make it a convenient location to both food services and the Student Health Center. Angell Hall is respected for its involvement and leadership. It is also the home to a good number of international students studying at UWL, which offers a culturally diverse co-educational experience for anyone living in Angell. Residents sponsor several all campus events each year, as well as a variety of fun and exciting events within the hall. The basement is a favorite hangout with a game room, Sauna, coffeehouse, and a full kitchen.

Most student rooms are double occupancy with room dimensions 15'6" long x 11'6" wide x 8' high. Angell hall has 1 to 3 triple rooms per cube also available to students. These rooms are approximately 20' long x 10'8" wide. This can vary on location in the building. Included in each room are two desks, dressers, beds, mini-fridge, bookshelves, cable cord, recycling bag, trash bin, and recycling bin.

In addition to student rooms, Angell has general use spaces for residents to use. There is a TV lounge area, game room, group study, Sauna, computer lab, and coffee house/study area. Also, on each floor there is a study. This study is typically used for overflow housing during the first semester and sometimes the whole year. Other amenities include high speed internet, cable television hookups, local phone service, on-site laundry facilities, and wireless internet in the basement.
