What
do I do if I can't connect to the Internet?
If you were able to connect to the internet in the last
few days, try restarting your computer. If you have never
been able to connect, the first thing to do is determine
whether the problem is on your end or ours. Make sure that
all of the cords are connected properly to the back of your
computer's case. Next make sure that your ethernet cable
is plugged into the red data jack on the wall.
Finally check your Internet Explorer settings by opening
Internet Explorer, choose the Tools menu and click Internet
Properties. Choose the Connections tab and click on the
LAN Settings button. All of the check boxes on this page
should be unchecked.
If you still cannot connect to the Internet then contact
us at RLIS so we can be of assistance.

You can purchase an RJ-45 cord at the front desk of your
Residence Hall. The cost is $5 per cable. If you wish to get
