Located between White Hall and Laux Hall on the east side of campus is Sanford
Hall. Sanford is a coed residence hall housing 226 students. It is a four-story building located on the east side of campus close to the stadium. Sanford Hall is unique in that it is the only residence hall on campus where men and women can live on the same floor. Each floor generally houses the same number of men and women and there are both male and female bathrooms on each floor. Sanford hall is usually a very upbeat and friendly place where students are very active in the hall and are excited to get to know one another.
Student rooms are double-occupancy. Most student rooms are the same size with room dimensions 15'6" long x 11'6" wide x 8' high. This can vary on location in the building. Included in each room are two desks, dressers, beds, mini-fridge, bookshelves, cable cord, recycling bag, trash bin, and recycling bin.
In addition to student rooms, Sanford Hall has general use spaces for residents to use. There is a TV lounge area, game room, group study, Sauna, computer lab, and exercise/study area. Also, on each floor there is a study. This study is typically used for overflow housing during the first semester and sometimes the whole year. Other amenities include high speed internet, cable television hookups, local phone service, on-site laundry facilities, and wireless internet throughout the hall.

Sanford Hall offers many resources at the Front Desk. Residents can check-out equipment, kitchen supplies, movies, and various other items. Residents can also buy pizzas, stamps and parking permits.
Sanford Hall is open during the academic year. Sanford is closed for Thanksgiving and Spring breaks. Students can stay during J-Term for additional fees.
