The Student Employment Service of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse actively
serves the UWL community by administering the Campus Job Board. The Job Board provides
information on student employment and acts a central clearinghouse for part time
job opportunities both on and off campus. Through the UWL Job Board, local employers
are provided assistance with meeting their part time and temporary manpower needs.
This service offers job advertising to a selected pool of eligible candidates. Only
currently enrolled students have access to job information. These students have
important talents, skills and energy to add to the local job market.
When using the Job Board, employers retain control over all hiring procedures. Application
requirements are controlled by employer specifications. Employers also arrange and
conduct all interviews and make all hiring decisions.
