Specific Issues Page

The specific Issues commitee is responsible for addressing any issues on campus that you, the resident may have. This includes everything that you would like to see change or added to campus. This, in the past, has been everything from adding bike racks to drilling holes in the Dorm room desks to policies concerning overnight guests. One representative from each hall is responsible for specific issues; to find the representative from your hall, click here

SI Issues That Have Been Worked on This Year!

1. Getting juice machines in the sub shop---stopped because of strong opposition.

2. Getting fences repaired---It is the duty of the maintenance crew and should get taken care of by them.

3. Wireless internet in the Hall study's---was told it was not needed because of computer labs in basements.

4 . Holes drilled in bookcases in res hall rooms---In progress, probably switching because it's not a necessity

5. I am working on getting AEDs---In Progress forCatwright Center and Whitney center.

6. Working on getting windows in all of the computer lab doors in res halls for safety reasons

7. Looked into coin machines in the laundry rooms---was told it would not work

8. Locks on the dressers which has been written up in proposal form---Being put in this summer.

9. Getting free weights in the rec but there ---were liability issues with that so it didn't work out.

10. Worked on getting napkin holders in cartwright and ---they put 2 vertical holders up on the walls.

11. Working on getting our IDs programmed for the computer labs.
